Pitches

We commission from engineers, surveyors, site managers and materials specialists who have something specific to say. A useful pitch is three paragraphs: the claim, the evidence you can bring to it, and why a reader with a deadline should care. Write to[email protected].

We do not accept: finished articles submitted for publication, supplier-authored copy, "guest posts" with embedded commercial links, link exchanges, paid placements, directory entries or sponsored listicles. Those messages are deleted unread — not out of rudeness, but because the answer is always the same.

Press and data

Manufacturer test reports, standard drafts and project data are welcome when they can be discussed on the record. Off-record briefings are accepted only to establish background, and never as the sole basis for a published figure.
